Route Staff Privacy Policy

Route Academy operates Route Staff for authorized instructors and mentors. This policy describes information used by the current Route Staff application. Accounts are created and assigned by Route Academy administration; the app does not provide public registration.

Information we use

• Account information: your name, email address, phone number, account and role identifiers, and profile details such as date of birth when provided.
• Profile photos: images you choose to upload or take when updating your profile.
• Operational records and user content: session and workshop activity, attendance updates, requests and their supporting information, and interview experience contributions you submit.
• Device and notification information: device or installation identifiers, push notification tokens, platform information and notification permission status used to deliver and manage updates.
• App interactions: actions saved to provide features, such as saved interview experiences and notification read status.

How information is used

We use this information to authenticate accounts, apply role-based access, maintain profiles, manage groups, sessions, workshops and attendance, process requests, display permitted contributions, deliver notifications and support the application's operation. These records are associated with your account. The current app does not use this information for advertising tracking.

Device permissions

Camera and photo access are requested for features such as choosing or taking a profile photo. Photo saving permission may be requested when you save a Job Fair attendance card. Notification permission enables push updates. You can manage these permissions in device settings.

The current Route Staff app does not request GPS location permission or collect device location for branch check-in. This policy and the relevant disclosures will be updated if those features are introduced.

Access and service providers

Information is available to authorized Route Academy personnel according to their roles and operational responsibilities. Contributions you submit for publication may be displayed to authorized app users. Infrastructure and notification providers process information needed to operate the service, including Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service. Online sessions may open Zoom; use of Zoom is also subject to its own privacy policy.

Retention and protection

We retain information for as long as needed to administer the account, maintain teaching and attendance records, process requests and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Access is restricted according to account permissions. Some organizational records may need to be retained after account access ends.

Your choices and requests

You can update available profile information in the app and change device permissions. To request access, correction, account closure or deletion of personal information, contact [email protected] and identify the request as relating to Route Staff. We may need to verify your identity. Any information that must be retained under applicable obligations is handled separately from closing account access.
